Using shotcut keys in XPDF

Hi,
I usually use xpdf to open pdf files and i like to go to the next page using the shortcut keys (Space-bar and page up/down). But this functionality doesn't always work properly. Occasionally (seams to be randomly, but it might be related to being idle for some time, aka seconds) instead of doing what the shortcut was suppose to, it opens some window (usually the Print dialog window), this is horribly annoying.
This doesn't happen in any other program.
I have the latest xpdf version (3.00) and slackware 9.1.

Appreciate any help
