using sendmail I can't send email in Rich Text Format

Hello again to everyone.
I'm sending email through sendmail. I am able to send messages in plain text but not in HTML or rich text formats. Can anyone tell me how to fix it.

Sendmail doesn't care, it's a Mail Transfer Agent (mailserver) and not a Mail User Agent (email client).

Your client is the problem. Popular clients are Outlook, Pegasus, Eudora, pine, elm, etc.

Reconfigure your client to MIME-encapsulate all 8-bit formats, and you should be OK.

Haven't a clue. I use Pegasus or Eudora on WinPCs, Outlook is too dangerous for my liking (and not very featureful without an Exchange server on the back end anyway).

Usually it's a couple of check-boxes that says something like "send 8-bit email" and "use MIME"; you want 8-bit email *OFF* and MIME *ON*.

I can't find anything to change MIME settings and 8 bit configuration on outlook. Any other ideas
