Ok. Figured that out, and enlightenment is cool as hell. But, I am unable to find kinternet in enlightenment. The menu selection for internet isn't there! I went to a terminal and typed in kinternet, and it showed it was then running, but I still couldnt initialize my modem or find any trace of it on my desktop. So . . . . How do I get to kinternet, and get my modem going in enlightenment?

I've never used kinternet myself, but I imagine your problem can be solved by just modifying your menu. look in your home directory for ~/.e<version>/menus. The syntax of them is pretty simple, so I don't think you'll have a problem. Hope you continue to enjoy e and good luck.
