I have checked all the mozilla printing posts and none solved my problem. One came remotly close with a hint that lpr-cups whateverwahver might work for printing command/ I am using CUPS and i printingcommand?
what command did u use?
anyone have tips?
Thank you
Brandon
I got Mozilla to print using cups. When you are in Mozilla and you choose menu file/print it should show your default/PostScript printer as the destination printer correct? If you click on the properties button you will see the print command as:
lpr ${MOZ_PRINTER_NAME:+'-P'}${MOZ_PRINTER_NAME}
Just change the lpr to lp-cups and it should work! If you are using kde you can also replace the whole command string with just kprinter and it will give you a popup list of all the available printers.
I wanted to thank you for the tips. I tried lp-cups but it did not work so i just simply installed kprinter and it works. I guess some people might not want to take up the extra space just to print with mozilla. But then again why do i care?
haha
thank you very much
