[SOLVED] Using Audio-Recorder to save voice produced by Google Translate

I know how to record CDs using Audio-Recorder in Linux but can't capture voice produced by Google Translate. I am impressed with this program's great sound quality and would like to know how to specify a sound source of my own such as a web browser.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I've used Audacity. Some choice in menu puts output back into recording. I forget the name of that choice. If I had it in front of me I could find it. (overdub??) something like that maybe.

I've finally figured out an intuitive way to record Google Translate's voice output using Audio-Recorder by connecting a microphone to the computer. This works fine for occasional or
casual use. There are also many things beyond one's control, such as surrpunding noise and repeatabilty of recording volume.
