using arts without kde...
 

I had to dump kde since it runs way to slow on my machine. Now I'm using fluxbox without any desktop software.

I am having trouble getting sound to work properly with artsd. Programs that have arts plugins (like xmms, xine) work fine, but other programs have no sound. When I was using KDE, I just started them with artsdsp, but I can't get artsdsp to work without kde. Any ideas?
