Using applications for different DE

Hello!

I am using openSUSE 11.4 with GNOME.
Also i am using k3b cd/dvd burner, kTorrent and Krusader wich are apps for KDE.
All works fine.
Is there any limitations for using apps for different DE?

No, as long as you have the needed libraries installed.
