useradd


hello
i would like to add users but how?
in man writing useradd -d

i tried to write a case script but it is not working
#!bin/bash
while
do
echo"----Menu---"
echo "add user"
echo "delete user"
echo "change password"
echo "Exit"

echo "please enter your choice"
read choice
case $choice in
i) echo "Enter your name and surname"
useradd -d
;;
esac
done

in linux how can i add a user may you help me ?

try this useradd -o -u 0 nick

you can just type

Code:
adduser
and then follow the questions.

hi
i used adduser -d

and when i write name surname i think added by where how i will
see where is the record?

how i will list new added people?

according to the user answers i would like to make a menu

butt still i couldnt solve?

how i will add and delete user from their choice if directory?

i will ask name,surname,which directory he/she wants to be.

May you look my menu and help?

.Add user
-Asn name,surname,which directory he/she wants
.Delete User
.Change Password
