user mode linux
 

I was wondering about user mode linux. Is it like a virtual os on your desktop. So I could run a basic linux 2.4 base kernel and run win4lin inside that? I am I on the right track? If so could someone point me to a tutorial on how to set it up. I run Mandrake 10.0. I am a basic linux user. I just started configuring and compiling kernels. I cant seem to find a detailed instructions. Thanks
