User accounts setup for vsftpd

Basically I want to link my existing account to the ftpd server so that I have the same login creditials for both my ftp and when am loggin in locally to my server.

Secondly I want to create a new user so that he can upload to my server but NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS MY FILES.

It's just a standalone linux box which hosts the ftp service.
