use yast remotely, keyboard no response

A: local Fedora Core 4
B: remote server, SUN OS
C: remote PC, Suse 9.1

to access C, I firstly have to ssh to B, and through B SSH to C.

no x windows, so I can only run yast in command line.
when I run yast without any option, it leads me to a terminal
user interface, but it can not accept most of the keyboard input,
except arrow down/up, ctrl+z, no others. I can do nothing at all.

what is the reason, is it because I ssh through a SUN OS?

Why can't you ssh to C from A directly? I suppose they are all part of a LAN, so you should be able to hit C from A by the local IP address. An alternative should be to forward port 22 (I think that's the ssh port) so you could hit C from A from the outside the LAN.

Oh my, what a mess I wrote. Sorry. I hope you understand anyway

B&C are in the same LAN, B is a server accessible from outside
A is in another LAN, but can access B directly, C is not invisible
from A directly.
