Question Use gamepad button to jump instead of the up direction pad?

Hi.

Is it possible to use a gamepad button to jump instead of the up direction pad? I refer to games that have no keyboard controls, only gamepad -- the problem is I cannot may the up direction to a gamepad controller -- but could it the game also had a keyboard control option.

I've used antimicro & qjoypad to map buttons for games that only have keyboard control. I dislike using up to jump.

In the attached image -- this section is about up/down directions -- on the left 'no key' button, I can change this to a keyboard button but if I push a gamepad button - it won't accept it.
