USB scanner support/software

Hey folks,

anyone know how to configure a USB Canoscan650U and if there is any other good scanning software (besides xsane-doesn't support USB) out there that is decent. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry bud, I have the same scanner and its not supported yet. One of the reasons I have dual boot on one of my machines.

How about an HP2200 scanner? Are scanners moving out and digital cam's in and that's why they support more of those than scanners?

Go with SCSI scanner to avoid headaches, the software you can use is xsane (actually it is a fron-end to sane -sort of cdrecord for scanners)
