mpk_india LQ Newbie Registered: Jan 2007 Posts: 2 Rep:	usb PnP application Hello All, I am trying to find the linux based Plug and Play application for usb flash drive. I need the application which detects the plugging/unplugging of usb flash drive. Also is there any document available for writing linux application - open usb flash drive, read the contents of it, dump it on hard drive. As I know every device in linux can be treated as file. So are there any ioctls to view the contents of flash drive. Regards, MK
