usb lightscribe on netbook has anyone got them working im on asus 901 with a hp

i believe its software that as far as i can find is all windows window bloody bill gates surely there is a way around this any pointers or direction would be grateful the hp site doesnt appear to be any good unless your windows grateful for anyhelp thankyou

LightScribe Software Installation Instructions

This thread in the Ubuntu forums helped me get the LightScribe software running on my HP G-60 Notebook. One thing to remember, after getting it installed, is that you must run the software as administrator (root, su or sudo) to get it to work.
