USB Driver (I think)

I got my hardrive partiioned with Fedora Core 1/XP
Then I say lets test thing thing out on internet

I typed in all my settings manually (IP, DNS, Subnetmask, etc, etc)

I get an error
Code:
/sbin/adsl - start: Line 215 : 5016 Terminated
$CONNECT "$@" >/dev/null 2781
The device I used was
Code:
 USB CDC Ethernet Driver
It was the educated guess to choose that one since there was not many available.

I have a Netopia Modem, Caymen 3300 Series.. Before you say just use ethernet it dont work, and until I get around to taking modem back to the store I am stuck with USB.

If you have any suggestions on how to fix this or the driver by all means please help
