Welcome to LQ!

There are many options for usb and linux

now, I assume you mean a fat32 usb or ext3 usb?

syslinux or grub?

how much do you know about Linux
and please give specs on usb and your computer:)

Now, it's easy to hook it up to boot many, many distro's
I have about 8-10 on mine at any one time
all are frugal persistent too

so, what distro's you wanna put on the Stick?
