Urpmi database update

I just found out this morning that you can use RPM's from online in your database

I found one good site, its The PLF Site , and it is very easy. Just answer some simple questions, and then it gives you what to type into a terminal. I don't know any other sites that I can do this with. Can you reccomend some for me please?

Thanks a lot,
Matt

I haven't seen to many that automate it like the plf site does.

However if you find some, you can just add them manually...

that being said, if you get all the ones from the plf site, you don't really need any others.

I don't care if they're automated or not. I just want to know some good sites, I know how to add them manually. I want something BIGGER than Plf, because some packages that are dependencies aren't on there, and I don't know how to install something at the same time as the plf one when I download them seperatley. They're circular, if you know how to install them from 2 different places at the same time succesfully, please share it.

Thanks,
Matt

from URPMI? I don't.

I haven't found any other sites, although I've heard some people talk about them, so google.com might help you.

As for the missing dependencies, I've run into those also, and they are frustrating...but at that point, I usually just hit www.rpmfind.net and download the appropriate rpm and install it myself with rpm, then retry the URPMI command.
