URPMI Database Locked error, cant get rid of it.

WOW, I am just having a great day, I trying to install some RPM packages and it is giving me this error urpmi: Database Locked No matter what I do, I dont know if this is something that I did or not but I would be gratefull for some help.

You have to be root and also make sure that no other processes are using rpm. You can remove the lock by rebooting or deleting /var/lib/urpmi/.LOCK and /var/lib/rpm/RPMLOCK.

I have tried this like 30 times now and everytime the lock is back on, I have even double checked to make sure that the lock files are deleted, I searched the internet and that is what everyone else is saying to do and I try it over and over but no luck, it is back on the second I try to install something again.

Does anyone have any IDEAS? I cant get it to work, what do I need to do?? update URPMI? Please help. It locks up again right after I unlock it, I even make sure it is unlocked and it still does it, also when I go into the Mandrake Control Center and try to update my sources where I get my Updates and stuff it gives me the same error. All help is really appreciated.
