Hi people,

I am getting errors when I tried to compile kernel 2.6.9 source on Fedora Core 3 (2.6.9-1.667). My intenstion is to install RTLinux-3.1 on Fedora Core 3. I would like to know the proper steps and proper patches of RTLinux to be run on FC 3. Kindly suggest me the way.

I also Installed RTLinux-3.2-pre2 on Redhat Linux 7.3. I got succeded but its the rtsock.o modules is not getting installed. And I aslo I am not able to access USB Disk.

I will post the errors in the next mail, but kindly suggest me what settings should I modify in order to succesfully install and run RTLinux on my system....
Its very urgent for me to get this information.Excepecting ur help.

I think you'll need to use commercial version to run RTLinux with a 2.6 kernel. For more info, see this link

Ya that seems right. but y they have released RTLinux Free version for 2.6.9 kernel if its not supported? If u have any info regarding installing RTLinux Free on Fedora Core OS, pls let me know. And right now I am runnig Fedora Core 3. Can I be successful in compiling kernel 2.4.4 along with RTLinux Free? I mean, will the compiler of FC3 will compile 2.4.4 source properly and build a bootable image?
