I am pulling out all my hair...
I just followed url shupp.org/toaster and finished installation of qmail + vpopmail+courier-imap etc. Installation seemed going fine.
Here are my problems:
1) It looks there are now two sets of pop servers,
-- one is qmail-pop3d, and qmail-pop3ds,
-- another one is courier-imap pop3d and pop3d-ssl.
If I started vpopmailctl first, and then started courier-imap, courier-imap will give error saying port already in use.
If I started courier-imap, it would start imap, imap-ssl, pop3d, pop3d-ssl. and vpopmailctl could also start without error.
I don't know why I have two sets of pop and which one I should use.
2) I created domain and add new user with vpopmail command successfully, and vuserinfo showed my user account and password correctly.
3) When I telnet to mydomain.com 110, it's connected, but when I typed username ( full email name like
user@mydomain.com ) and passwd, I always got autherntication failure.
4) with
postmaster@mydomain.com, I could logon with qmailadmin, but squirrelmail always failed.
