ups problems
 

hey,

i have installed a ups on a pc running redhat 9 and the apc daemon. the problem is that when the pc boots it gets to where you would normally login, at this point it declares that it is running on batteries and shuts-down! it isn't running on batteries. i cant login and therefore disable it.

any ideas would be great!

unplug the UPS and restart to make the changes you want to.

gave up and reinstalled linux. :confused:
