Hi All,

I'm trying to upgrade my RH9 box with MySQL 4.1.2 so I can use subqueries... I've downloaded all the RPMs from MySQL's site, also downloaded the latest version of PHP 4.3.6 from pbone, since I understand the older version will always look for files in older the MySQL version. I then downloaded and installed all of the files required to satified the dependancies.

Now that everything is installed successfully, Apache no longer recognizes PHP !! I looked in Apache's modules directory and found libphp4.so but httpd.conf does not seem to have any mention of php at all (it used to work fine with the PHP version that comes with RH9).

What do I need to do? And can I get things to work without having to upgrade Apache?

Compile apache to work with php. What version of apache are you running?

I'm using the same version that came with RH9 which is 2.0.40 ... should I get a newer version ? If so how do I compile it for RH9 ? Is there an RPM or source RPM?
