Not brilliant so far (10.0 Community Edition). At first I thought that my Samba installation had been trashed, as it was when I upgraded from 9.1 to 9.2, but this time it turns out that my LAN adapter is not working for some reason (it's a Broadcom 4400 built in to my Asus A7V8X motherboard, which worked fine under both 9.1 and 9.2).
So I tried a full installation instead of an upgrade, and lost a lot of user settings (my own fault for setting them up non-standard and not keeping notes (where's the embarassed smiley?)), and a lot of stuff I'd thought was standard wasn't installed, although I asked for *everything*. I've subsequently found everything I was missing (I think) on the installation CDs (XEmacs, Xmms, Kpilot, gnome-pilot and a whole lot more (including kino, so I won't have to recompile that!)).
Apart from the LAN problem and the fact that my WinModem (whose idea were
they?) no longer works (and the driver doesn't come anywhere near compiling with the 2.6 kernel), everything seems stable enough
Does anyone know if 10.0 Official will fix my LAN problem? The adapter is correctly recognised, and there appears to be a choice of two drivers (b44 from RedHat and bcm4400 from Broadcom) but as far as I can tell neither of them works
