HOw do i upgrade to Redhat 6.2 to i have to reinstall?

if you boot with the 7 cd, during the install, it should ask you if this is a install, same screen to select what kind of install you custom, kde workstation....etc.

There is no need to reinstall, that would defeat the purpose of an upgrade.
