Upgrading Firefox on Suse Linux 9.1 Personal

Can someone point me in the correct direction please? I am a Linux newbie.

I installed Suse v9.1 Personal. The install went just fine. When I opened a Firefox browser window, it told me there is a seucrity update that I should download. Well, I downloaded it and even ran the install as described on the Mozilla site. It seemed to go OK, except I got this message in the shell window:

----
greg@linux:~/firefox-installer> Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: XDM authorization key matches an existing client!

(firefox-bin:7045): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
----

And when I run Firefox, the old versioon still runs. I installed the app while logged in as a regualr user (not root).

Thanks.

Thank Eric,

It is the same file as I downloaded earlier. I figured, what the heck, I will try running it again. It seemed to work OK this time. I think maybe the problem arose before because I had a Firefox window open while the install was going on.

Thanks again.
