Upgraded from RHEL 3.0 to 4.0 and Firefox way, way slow.

Hello,

I had been running RHEL 3.0 without any problem but decided to replace my installation with 4.0 Before letting the 4.0 installer reformat the drive I tarred up the home directory of my primary user account (which contained my firefox (1.02) installation) and moved it to a different machine. After wiping out the 3.0 image and installing 4.0 I created a user with the same name and untarred my home directory backup. Things mostly work and I am able to launch firefox which works but it loads pages really, really, slow and sometimes not at all. I also keep getting little 'document contains no data' windows. I'm connected to the internet over a cable connection. I have no idea how to troubleshoot this. If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate it!
