Upgradation from Evolution 2.2 to 4.4

I am trying to install Plugin for Evolution. But due to the incomaptibility of Library files, I will have to upgrade from Evolution 2.2 to 2.4. Can you please tell me how can I upgrade? What are the steps? Is there any binary available for Evolution 2.4? Please guide.

What distro do you use?

You might be able to get it from your distro's package management system.

Or, you might have to get it from cvs.

or.. compile it yourself from souce.

I am using FC4. OK, can you tell me the steps how to compile it from the source. I have got the source tar file but I dont know hoe to compile it. Please guide me.
