Updating your Distro

I'm using Mandrake 9.2 and would like to upgrade when Mandrake 10 final comes out. If I do an upgrade from 9.2 to 10 will i loose all my apps and configurations and so forth?

Most likely, not. But you should backup important stuff always when upgrading

Alright thanks! I'm looking into a program called partition image for backups. Haven't had a chance to check it out yet though.

How do you tell what to back up? I've added sut and some goes in /usr/bin other /usr local still others home. It's crasy.
