Updating xfree86

The xfree86 website says I should download the xinstall shell script and run this utility to make sure I download the right version for my distro.

It also told me to run the _sh Xinstall. sh -check_ command to run the utility.
I did this in a terminal and got "no such file or directory".

How do I use this shell script to get the info I need?

Exactly what did you typed? Are you in the directory where the script is? Do you have this script? If yes, then
[shell_prompt]# chmod 755 Xinstall.sh
[shell_prompt]# sh Xinstall.sh

Thanks, neo77777. Your commands worked for me.
