Updating winxp from local linux router?

We have a router (slack 10) in our office... It works just great... Also a number of computers need to be updated (theisr os are windoz xp) ... The update is being downloaded from the microsoft web site ...which is very slow.. My question is ... Can i make a local winXp local update mirror on our local router ..and setup all the windowses to download their updates from there?

afaik M$.com has the relevant downloads for lan deployment. jsut got to look in the right places. once you have the files, you would share them from slackware, using samba,
