I'm running Fedora 3 and am running K3b0.11.14 with KDE 3.3.0-5 RH. cat /proc/cpuinfo tells me that I'm running an AMD Athlon 64 bi processor 3400+.

The K3b I'm running cannot take an MP3 file and burn it to an Audio CD, although it can do WAV.

I've been trying to upgrade to a later K3b that will be able to burn an mp3.

I've looked at rpms.xcyb.org/fedora/3/athlon
and downloaded rpms for both source (version 12.4a) and w/o source (11.24). But in all cases when I do a yum install, I find that there are dependencies that I require.

And even if I got the source to extract, I'm not certain how I go about building it.

When I try to find the dependencies using google and download them, I am plagued with this pgp stuff that I can't quite figure out.

So I feel lost. Any help would be appreciated.

hmm... i thought yum was supposed to take care of dependencies... but I don't use yum so I can't say for sure. try 'man yum' (no quotes) in your shell term.
