Updating Firefox through Flathub not working

Hello,

I am trying to update Firefox to Version 97 on a Chromebook via Terminal. I have had it installed ever since I got the laptop and had updated it through version 96. However, now "flatpak update org.mozilla.firefox" returns "nothing to do" after checking for updates. On Flathub it lists Version 97 as the current version there... Anyone have an idea on what I am missing? Should I be using a different command?

All the best.

no, it should work exactly the same way. I guess you need to check if it was updated already or not and try again later.

Thanks. That is what I thought. However, Firefox says I have version 96, and Flathub says the current version there is 97, but Terminal is saying the one I have is the same....

Actually, to add to the weirdness, when I use flatpak list it now shows Firefox 97 is installed. However, in "About Firefox" in the browser, it shows, Version 96...

Aaand now it is solved. Once I restarted, which I should have tried to begin with, the update showed up correctly. {facepalm}
Thanks again for responding. I am gradually learning my way around Linux and loving even the mistakes.

That's ok.
In that case you might want to mark the thread solved.
Also if you wish to say thanks just click on yes.
