Updating Firefox - Fluxbox Menu Item

I recently downloaded the newest firefox and it runs, however i have to run it from the shell script in the install directory. I like running firefox from my main fluxbox menu and am wondering how to get the menu to start the new firefox when i click it. I looked in the ~/.fluxbox/init and didn't find anything referring to firefox.
Thanks

BTW: When i type firefox in my console it opens the old version and i think i found where i need to edit (~/.firefox/menu) i found things referring to firefox and the different items on the menu but now i need to get it to link to the new firefox.

you need to edit your menu file, put a line like this in there in the appropriate place.

Code:
[exec]   (firefox) {firefox}
or you can generate a new menu with

Code:
$ fluxbox-generate_menu -B
The -B option will generate the backgrounds too. This will overwrite your current menu file, however.

that doesent fix the problem since the command "firefox" opens the old version. The new version is located in a different directory than the old one. could I do something like
[exec] (firefox) {/home/VIR3NT/firefox/firefox}?
