Question update ubuntu 8.10 to ubuntu 9.04


I have a question I want to update my ubuntu 8.10 to ubuntu 9.04 with update manager but I want to know if my information is going to be deleted???

Nope. Files don't get deleted on upgrade.

I've upgraded three computers - two running normal Ubuntu and one running Xubuntu - and haven't had any problems at all.

I upgraded two pcs also. one desktop, and one laptop.

no issues, in fact more things worked.
