Unmounting usb-device with konqueror

I have trouble unmounting my mp3-player using Konqueror, and have not found any answers to my specific question on the web.

Using Konqueror, I can access my usb mass-storage-device (mp3-player) with the tab "devices" on the left. Double clicking on "Hard Disc (sda1) [/usb]", or right clicking on it, and choosing "Mount", I mount the device and can move files to it. Now if I want to unmount it again, I right-click on the device and choose "Unmount". This gives me an error popup-window, saying: umount: /usb: device is busy. This also happens if I change directories first.

Now, closing konqueror and typing
umount /usb
in an xterm unmounts the device.

My question: can I unmount the device from Konqueror, without closing Konqueror down, because it seems Konqueror keeps the device busy? Thanks!

I have had a similar problem unmounting a sandisk flashcard. While regular user-mode Konqueror doesn't work for me, I go to root mode and can get rid of the mount just fine.

Maybe that will work for you. Just a shot...
