unique id code coupon? open source- strange record label

Hi! I am NOT a programmer but know some who could help me if you can point me in the right direction. I am looking for some software that would allow me to print out a series of unique id codes on cards. Each code would be unique and it would allow the user to then download an mp3 or an album or whatever. Each code could only be used once. Its sort of a common thing now for big record labels to offer with their LP's but Im just a small dude running an experimental sound art label.
The kind of thing I am talking about is here:
www.hobbledehoyrecords.com/vinylmp3/
and in a slicker expensive way here:
www.discrevolt.com/

please help. If I can find the software I think I can get help installing it on the server.
if someone wants to write this for me- I can trade art or music!

thanks!

So, basically you need someone to write and setup a program to generate unique ID codes, and keep a record of which ones are valid/used?

totally

I mean, to be honest I can generate the unique id codes manually if that makes things easier and then load them into a spreadsheet or something. but yeah basically it would generate a series of unique id numbers. The user would go to a specific page like [www. mywebsite/entercode.html and there would be a place to type in the code. If the code was correct it would send you do another page like www. mywebsite/yourcodeiscorrect.html where they could download a file. However the code only works once or twice, and you shouldnt be able to just type in www. mywebsite.com/yourcodeiscorrect.html and by pass the code page.

I think for it to be usable to the general public and other small labels like myself as shareware or whatever- the smart thing to do would be to make a web app so that the user could be able to do it all online and not need a seperate program to mangae the database of codes or whatever. It could be as simple as a box that asks how many codes you need- and dialog box that lets you upload your file or folder. then it would generate the codes, link the database to the file and produce a txt file or whatever with all the codes on it so you can print them out on stickers or however you want to deal with that end of things. For me I could see attaching them to more fun things than scratch off cards- thats for sure!
