K, well ive been messing with this suse 9.1 for a bit now and but I need to learn more for me to achieve greater enlightenment, one key issue for me is knowing what each directory does, now can someone point a link to a site(or perhaps just explain) the deal with each directory, use, var etc. The second question is in relation to the first, i have got out of date screwed source compiled installations of gift and apollon and stuff and i need to know where their configure files (among other programs) are stored so I can do a make uninstall, I mean ive been to usr/lib/giFT and theres just a few .so files and stuff, no uninstall configures. Last question, I know theres more then one directory that programs go into, which is one of the most difficult things to accept coming from a shite wi***os machine, so if i do a make unistall in the 'main' package directory will it delete all the fles in the local and home areas too?
