Uninstalling gwibber facebook statuses remain

I tested out Ubuntu 11.04's facebook status program called gwibber. I found the status updates always popping up a little annoying so I uninstalled it. But the statuses keep appearing.
Can anybody help?
I still use the chat program empathy internet messaging, I wouldn't have to remove that too would I?

It sounds like it's not gwibber that's doing the checking + pop-ups... I would recommend reinstalling gwibber, disabling/removing your FB account and then uninstalling gwibber (if you so wish)
