Still problematic

Hey I found a way to uninstall a package
But again the result is nothing installed
The Result:

[root@kServerDomain root]# rpm -e dhcp-3.0.1rc12-4.src.rpm
error: package dhcp-3.0.1rc12-4.src.rpm is not installed
[root@kServerDomain root]# rpm -e dhcp-3.0.1rc14-1.i386.rpm
error: package dhcp-3.0.1rc14-1.i386.rpm is not installed

Now what is the problem?
Please explain...

uninstalled successfully but...

The dhcp related packages were uninstalled completely and so was
the new package reinstalled

[root@kServerDomain root]# rpm -ivh dhcp-3.0.1rc14-1.i386.rpm
warning: dhcp-3.0.1rc14-1.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 4
Preparing... #########################################
1:dhcp #########################################

but the problem now is that it is not
showing the dhcpd.conf file in the /etc
According to my knowledge it must be there. Can you please help.
