Uninstall Open Office 2.2 Suite from RHEL 4

How do I uninstall Open Office 2.2 Suite from RHEL 4 in one swipe? I know that I can remove each rpm individuall, but is there a better way? I want to accomplish this via command line because I would like to write a script to remove it from 400+ RHEL 4 systems.

Even with yum doing 'yum erase ooobasis3.0-base' doesn't result in a complete uninstallation of components. Unfortunately OOo isn't in a group of it's own, nor is there one single OOo package I know that would trigger removing all components. For example for OOo-3 packages (ooobasis3.0-.*-3.0.0-9358.i586.rpm) you could try and resort to something like 'LIST=$(grep -i ooo /var/log/rpmpkgs); LIST=${LIST//.i586.rpm/}; rpm -e $LIST' ?

I didn't think that yum is part of RHEL 4. I did a 'rpm -qa |grep -i office' and pulled up what I think are all the rpms. Could I write a script that performs rpm -e openoffice.org-* or will it croak? I'm fairly new to Linux and I don't know how to uninstall it the cleanest way with the least administrative effort.

Talking Possible success??!!

Maybe it's too early for celebration, but I successfully* removed the OOo 2 rpms by choosing rpm -eg {list of all OOo rpms}. It removed all of them w/o any problems**. I then installed all of the OOo 3.0.1 rpms by untaring the tar ball and running rpm -ivhg *. This too worked surprisingly easily.

If I do encounter any further issues that I encounter, I'll post it here. Thanks again for your help!

*successful - meaning I have removed the rpms that are required for OOo 2 to run. My success dance may be short lived, but celebrated nonetheless.

**problems - Problems or issues may occur at a later time; I have tested for roughly three weeks and no foreseen issues.
