uninstall mysql server completely


hi,

i recently screw up mysql server privileges and now im having problem accessing tables/databases. so i wanna uninstall mysql server completely and reinstall it. i installed it previously through yum install mysql mysql-server.

how should i do it?

hey it works, tks dude. btw, i have been using linux for a while now but i havent fully understand the way installation is done. i've used rpm, yum. where can i find good info of the various ways to install/uninstall and what is the different between them?

Most of the information you need can be found on-line.
