unetbootin

Is there someone who knows the whole story about unetbootin? Is this GPL? Where is the code described?

What is meant by:

I've actually hit upon an elegant and simple solution that lets spambots hang themselves on the code

English is not my native language. Sometimes english subtleties escape me.

Sounds like you're referring to this discussion, right?

In any case, I'm moving this to Software, since the main topic is UNetbootin.

Thanks. This was an evident search that I should have performed. It seems to be quite complete.

Looking for unetbootin, I do not really find all the information I would like on the program.

Does someone knows how it could boot a linux system from the window vista partition. How come a linux system could boot from ntfs? What is the trick.

In addition with a slax installation within a C: installation, I am not able to modify xorg.conf permanently. How come this is the case? Any ideas?
