undefined reference to `__udivdi3'

Hi all, Im newbie in the linux porting.. Im working for linux porting on ARM board.. we have requirement to take the master clock frequency dynamically from u-boot.
We have thought of a solution to keep a pointer for the macro "AT91SAM9_MASTER_CLOCK" in place of a hardcoded. we have done some changes in the kernel source. Now when I compile the complete source. I get error undefined reference to `__udivdi3'. If I replace the pointer with a hardcoded value, I dont see this error. Can anyone tell what is the mistake I doing.

my gcc version is armv5l-linux-gcc (GCC) 4.1.0 20060304

Thanks in advance

Probably can't help you, since you don't provide the code you changed, or what the exact error is you're getting, in what part of the source you modified.....
