Unalbe to Make Dual Boot
 

Hi Friends


I have dual boot system (stand alone machine), My linux was courrepted and i reload the linux. When i restart machine again than it not ask me the question lilo boot it shows me the screen

and so on


In this situation i am unable to boot wy windows also, then i try to boot with linux boot disk than it shows me the screen

for next 1.5 hours

After this i boot my machine with windows-98 floppy and reload the windows-98

Now i am unable make my machine as dual boot system because it give the first error..



what is the sol. of this problem

Had the same prob when I had Linux installed on the 2nd IDE channel, and windows was on the 1st one.

Solution - Put the Linux HD as the slave to the windows HD, then re-install.

Have you installed Linux to a separate HD?
