Unable to start ubuntu 14.04.1 from VirtualBox 4.3.14
I have window 7 laptop and installed VirtualBox 4.3.14 then install Ubuntu 14.04.1. When I try to start Ubuntu I got following error:
Error relaunching VirtualBox VM process: 5 Command line: '81954af5-4d2f-31eb-A142-B7AF187A1C41-subplib-2ndchild--comment Ubuntu -- startvm 5d509007-c3c7-46b5-8697-f6a9d5511123--no-startvm-errormsgbox' (rc=-104)
Please provide help

It's a problem with 4.3 I have same issue. In posts that I saw it suggested installi.g an older version.
This happened on a fresh windows install on my wifes computer, with Debian as guest.

I followed your advice and uninstalled the latest version
and installed the last version of Virtual Box 4.2
First difference I noticed is the that it detected the right architecture of my laptop
which the latest version didn't.
Unfortunately, I still see the same error.
Did you edit a registry key or enable/disable a setting in the VirtualBox image?

I haven't done it yet. But I have to go back & find the version of vb that was workin on my system before my reinstall. You also may have to remeber to remove everything.

I got it working eventually.
Downloaded Virtualbox version 4.3.12, installed it and got the error message that VT-x was not enable in BIOS
instead of previous E FAIL 0x80004500.
Enabled VT-X in BIOS, rebooted and launched Virtualbox and it started the Ubuntu 13.04 image.
So try the build I used above and enable VT-x
