Unhappy Unable to run java applet in browser


hi!
I am using Debian 7 OS.
In my system I have installed JDK
I am unable to run java applets in browsers (Iceweasel, Chrome)
It is Showing error message: "Plugin missing"

Please help me.

You do need a plugin to launch java apps in a browser. I use IcedTea-web.

Have a look in the repos for Debain, there may be a plugin there you can just install, rather than compile from source.
