unable to play flash files on some sites

Hi,

On some sites, I have been unable to play some flash files which is a problem when a site is purely flash driven. eg: www.x3movie.com.

The error I get is "Express Install is not supported by this version of Flash Player. To upgrade visit: http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/...ShockwaveFlash

Now the current version offered for linux is 7,0,61,0 which obviously is not new enough for these sites. Windows latest version is 8.

Is there a more recent version of the flash player for linux somewhere on the web which I can download and play these files?

Nope. According to a developer's blog adobe/macromedia, Linux won't see a new flash player until version 8.5. Sorry.
