Unable to open Yahoo! chatrooms in Pidgin, Gyachi, KDE chat client ....
 

Until recently I used to be able to connect to Yahoo chat rooms in pidgin without any problems. But now I am unable to do so, and not just in pidgin. I have tried almost every client out there, and everything else works except the chatroom thing.

In pidgin for example, when I press Ctrl+C a pop up opens asking for the name of the chat room. I enter the name and press join, the popup closes and nothing happens. Same for when I click join in the room list window.

Does this happen to anybody else? Any suggestions are welcome.
