Unable to load Enlightenment properly

Enlightenment use to work fine. I was trying to install some themes, most of them worked without a problem. Then I tried to use one, I don't remember the name, and everything looked "unthemed"?, i guess kinda bare, but when I did this the only thing running was the little wave program that comes with Enlightenment. Anyways, the cursor went to the little waiting clock and stayed there. So I restarted, and now whenever I try to use Enlightenment, it comes up exactly like that (a bare theme, the waves running in the background, and a waiting cursor.) Any ideas on how I can fix this? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Enlightenment package that came with my OS ( Mandrake 9.1 PPC). Hope you can help, thanks in advance.
